Medieval Week

Last week, there was a medieval party in Alcalá de Henares. It´s the Miguel de Cervantes´ hometown, the guy who wrote Don Quixote.
It´s just 30 minutes by train from Madrid.

The streets and the squares are beautiful, medieval style. As well, you can find the oldest spanish university, some famous people studied here. I had a lot of fun!

Real life

When the last month I came back to Madrid my uncle asked me: How is `come back to the real life´? I didn´t understand. Is it means this year living in Dublin was a fake? Maybe.

If real life is traffic jams, no money, angry people and work thirty years in the same job...
...I prefer an unreal world

BU02HPW

Guys! I´ve got a job! It was not easy. I had about six job interviews in two days, my poor mobile...

Finally, they gave me this job, it´s not about journalism :-(
but it´s not too bad. There are really interesting things.

It´s about baggage claim. The customers will call me asking about their missing bags in the airport.

We need to learn some codes and international computer languages. For example: How can I say "troley bag in blue color with wheels, external pockets and handle"? BU02HPW

TAPAS

When you order a beer in a spanish bar you will get a small piece of food. It calls TAPA. I´ve got a book about how to cook really good ones.

Patatas bravas -spicy potatoes- is easy to prepare and one of my favourites:

1- Wash the potatoes, without peeling, and boil in plenty of salted water. Once cooked, drain, peel and chop the potatoes into evenly sized cubes. Fry the potatoes in very hot oil until they begin to brown.

2- Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and fry in a small pan with two tablespoonfuls of olive oil. Strain this sauce through a sieve and miw with a teaspoonful of Tabasco to taste. Spoon the sauce over the tomatoes.

Must be served hot and... that´s it!
